Coconut Shrimp Scampi
Ingredients: Olive Destination (OD)Coconut Oil, OD Coconut White Balsamic, OD Garlic Oil, OD Black Truffle Sea Salt , OD Key West Citrus Seasoning Get a Tbsp of Coconut Oil hot in fry pan. Add same amount of garlic oil and coconut white balsamic. Sautee shrimp for 3 to 5 minutes until opaque in center. Sprinkle with black truffle sea salt, pepper and Key West Citrus Seasoning and enjoy. Can be plated separately or served over your favorite pasta or rice.
2015 Spring/Summer Class Schedule
Our class schedule is now set for the summer of 2015. So, grab a neighbor, friend or possibly even a spouse and sign up for one of our upcoming classes for some good fun, great food and some wonderful ideas for creating easy, healthy meals in your own kitchen. One of our chefs will prepare and sample some wonderful dishes and each will be accompanied by one of our special wines. The class schedule includes one on Wed, April 22nd and Thursday Jun 11th. Sautéed Kale with Squash oil
Sautéed Kale with Olive Destination Butternut squash seed oil Sea Salt. Pick Kale stems out, then chop Kale into 1/2" pieces. Lightly Sautée Kale in oil for 30-60 seconds over low heat. Great healthy snack Serve while still warm. Submitted by Executive Chef John Gilbertson
Strawberry Caprese Salad Plate
A summertime favorite and a sweeter alternative to the traditional tomato caprese salad. Slice fresh strawberries and mix with sliced mozzarella and basil leaves. Drizzle some Olive Destination Basil flavored Extra Virgin Olive Oil and some Olive Destination Cara Cara Orange Vanilla white balsamic vinegar over plate and serve.
